In #1 New York Times bestselling author Rosamunde Pilcher's Wild Mountain Thyme, a woman learns to forgive her ex—and herself—when she joins him on a journey where she'll discover love is always a possibility.
Oliver Dobbs was a writer first, and a man second. To him other people were tools. Even though he had broken Victoria Bradshaw's heart once, when he arrived on her doorstep with a two-year-old son, she found she could not refuse him, and the three of them set out for a castle in Scotland. There, Victoria meets the new laird and finds her crushed spirit awakening.

Victoria Bradshaw drops her dull life in London to resume a relationship with playwright Oliver Dobbs, who reappears on her doorstep after five years. In the meantime, Oliver has produced several successful plays and a two-year-old son. The trio sets off for a holiday at a remote Scottish castle. Donada Peters' narration is crisp, moving quickly and surely through descriptive passages which recall the romantic storytelling tradition of the Bront‘ sisters and Daphne du Maurier. Peters is consistent in her character rendering of the many characters and brings even minor characters to life. Pilcher by Peters makes for fine, entertaining listening. L.S.
