PreS-1-One particularly effective feature of this set is that several of the books come in a "two stories in one" format, a clever design that gives readers more material to explore within the same book. This setup allows emergent readers to practice phonics skills while moving through different stories, enhancing their reading stamina and engagement. The content in this level feels slightly more polished than in other levels, with stronger humor and more cohesive plotlines, making it one of the stronger offerings in the series. Despite some of the broader issues with inconsistent phonics focus across the series, the third level manages to keep readers entertained and practicing essential phonics skills. VERDICT This level is best suited for readers looking for imaginative and quirky stories.
