PreS-K-The second set in the "Supersonic Phonics" series may be one of the stronger sets of titles in the entire series. Readers are provided with additional practice activities like finger-tracing letters to build fine motor and pre-writing skills. There are a few practice words that align with the phoneme focus, and there are two stories in one, which is a clever format to entice emergent readers. Illustrations for the series titles are varied and diverse. The review skill is also aligned with the text. VERDICT This set features very simple stories with only a few words on each page, making it a "just right" practice book for this skill level.
